This study investigates the application of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in digital multimedia content production workflows and its impact on designers. As AI is increasingly integrated into the design field, traditional workflows and cognitive approaches are undergoing transformation. Using the "Urban Digital Scroll" project as a case study, the research employs qualitative methods such as in- depth interviews and focus group discussions to analyze AI's practical performance in text, image, and video generation. The findings reveal that while AI demonstrates significant efficiency in text processing, its contributions to image and video generation are less pronounced, with higher learning costs. Additionally, the study identifies that AI's potential in facilitating cross-functional collaboration remains underutilized, suggesting that its integration into multimedia design workflows requires further exploration. The study concludes by emphasizing the need to establish standardized "AI-integrated workflow" processes to support the sustained development of AI in the design domain.
