We investigated the ground exciton states of a single quantum ring (QR) structure under an applied magnetic field using power-dependent time-integrated photoluminescence (PL) measurements. As the laser excitation power increases, the PL peaks of excited exciton and biexciton states become dominant, and clearly resolved in terms of wavelength. Due to the unique QR structure, diverse wavelengths of ground exciton states possibly exist, and consecutive excited and biexciton states are also located near diverse ground exciton states. The strong polarization-dependent properties from ground exciton states were also observed as a function of analyzer angle. To estimate the detailed wavefunction distributions of diverse exciton states, we performed magneto–PL measurements and analyzed Zeeman splitting, g–factors, and diamagnetic coefficients up to 10 T from a single QR structure.
