In this study, indicators that can quantify a company’s carbon neutrality level were developed by investigating previous studies and related data. A total of 27 indicators were developed and divided the indicators into five categories, and a survey of AHP experts was conducted to determine weights for each indicator. Carbon neutrality scores were derived for 15 manufacturing companies using the developed indicators, and based on the total score, the maximum score was 71.7 points from a minimum of 38.5 points, and the average score was 54.0. Based on the results of the company’s carbon neutrality score, Monte Carlo simulation was performed to derive the distribution of the company’s carbon neutral score, which was reflected by dividing it into five grades in a certain percentile (20%). As a result of the that, it was found that there were 3 companies in the 5th grade, 4 companies in the 4th grade, 3 companies in the 3rd grade, 2 companies in the 2nd grade, and 3 companies in the 1st grade. In this study, the rating criteria were calculated for only 15 manufacturing companies, but if the number of companies increases in the future and it is possible to classify them by industry, it is expected that the rating criteria reflecting the characteristics of the industry can be prepared by calculating the rating criteria for each industry.
