This study presents a facile synthesis method for core-shell structured ferrite composite particles designed to achieve selective electromagnetic absorption across multiple frequency bands in the millimeter-wave range. Strontium hexaferrite (SrFe<sub>12</sub>O<sub>19</sub>) epsilon ferrite (ε-Fe₂O₃) core-shell particles were synthesized by sequentially combining spray drying and polydopamine-assisted self-assembly. The resulting composite particles exhibited multiple ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) peaks at 54, 71, and 84 GHz, with tunable absorption properties enabled by Ga substitution in ε-Fe₂O₃. This simple synthesis approach presents a promising pathway to develop absorbers with frequency-selective capabilities across multiple bands in the millimeter-wave range, thereby providing the potential to mitigate electromagnetic interference (EMI) in 5G/6G generation wireless communication devices and autonomous vehicle radar systems.
