Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore daily life changes experienced by women after breast cancer surgery. Methods: Using Photo Experiencing and Reflective Listening (PEARL) method, eight participants were selected for interviews through a purposive sampling strategy. Participants captured key moments in their daily lives through photographs and participated in interviews. Collected data were subjected to thematic analysis.
Results: Four themes were derived: revising lifestyle habits for a healthier self, establishing appropriate social relationships without overexertion, reflection and change in life, and finding meaning in changed daily life.
Conclusion: This study deeply explored the physical, mental, and social changes experienced by women after breast cancer surgery, highlighting the need for support systems to assist with their daily life adaptations.
