The purpose of this study is to propose a construction direction aimed at enhancing social roles in the future by analyzing the planned characteristics of community housing shared spaces and identifying the social roles that contribute to local communities. To achieve this, the planned characteristics of 16 community housing shared spaces were analyzed and categorized into four types based on their implementation purpose. The analysis focused on the proportion of shared spaces relative to the total housing area, the connection methods between shared spaces and individual homes, the range of users and operational characteristics of shared spaces, and the social roles associated with each type. To promote social roles in the future, the study presents examples, and methods for classifying ownership and operational entities, ensuring that only shared spaces within the region can be maintained and effectively managed. Additionally, measures to revitalize senior community housing and youth start-up community housing are proposed.
