Recently, Curtain walls are widely applied to the outer walls of high-rise buildings by reducing the weight of the outer walls, simplifying field work, shortening air, and securing homogeneity of quality, and attaching exterior panels to the frame can design various of the exterior of the building. In addition, the use of residential buildings is increasing to secure views and enhance the appearance. In order to secure the thermal performance of residential building windows, which account for about 20-40% of building energy, it is evaluated whether the design standards for the condensation prevention performance are satisfied. The performance of the curtain wall is supposed to meet the performance standards in accordance with the Regulations on Promoting the Supply of High-Efficiency Energy Materials in Buildings by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. Condensation prevention performance is evaluated through physical tests and computer simulations according to the condensation prevention performance evaluation method of the “Condensation Prevention Design Standards for Apartment Houses”. However, since the evaluation criteria for condensation prevention performance are not specified, it is difficult to evaluate by reflecting the structural and material characteristics of the curtain wall because it is evaluated by applying the window criteria without any separate criteria. Therefore, this study proposes a reasonable position to calculate the surface temperature for calculating the temperature difference (TDR) using a computer program suitable for the application of ISO 15099, analyze the surface temperature of vertical and horizontal frames according to the opening and closing ratio, and calculate the temperature difference value according to the opening and closing position.
