연구목적: 샌드위치 패널의 심재는 불연재를 사용하도록 법 기준이 강화된 바 있다. 한편, 소방용 배관의 배관 보온재의 경우 난연성능 이상으로 법제화는 되어 있으나 난연성능의 명확한 기준을 제시하지 않아 기준 미달의 단열재가 사용되고 있다. 또한 제연설비의 배출 풍도 역시 유입되는 고온의 연기로부터 인접한 가연물을 보호하거나 화재로부터 풍도를 통해 신선한 공기를 제공할 수 있도록 하는 내열성 단열재의 피복이 중요하다. 배관보온재 및 제연덕트 보온재에 적합한 AES소재 단열재의 성능을 시험을 통해 검증하려 한다. 연구방법: 배관 보온재와 제연덕트에 사용되는 배출 풍도의 보온재는 불연성능을 가진, 내열성이 강한 보온재를 사용하여야 한다. 물론 단열성능에 대한 검증도 필요할 것이다. 이를 시험을 통해 확인한다. 연구결과: ‘건축물 마감재료의 난연성능 및 화재 확산 방지구조 기준(국토교통부 고시 제2020-1053)’에서 명시한 'KS F ISO 1182:2020'의 불연성 시험과 'KS F 2271' 가스유해성시험으로 불연성능을 확인하였고, 내화성능 확인을 위한 ‘KS L 9104:2017’ 표준시험 방법을 통해 불연성능과 내화성능을 확인하였다. 건축용 단열성능에 대해 ‘KS L 9016:2010’시험을 수행하여 단열성능도 검증하였다. 결론 : 본 연구에서 AES(Alkaline Earth Silicate wool) 계열 무기질 성분 단열재에 대한 성능시험으로 불연성능, 내화성능, 단열성능을 검증하여 건축물의 난연성능을 개선하는데 좋은 대안이 될 것으로 사료된다.

A fire in a large volume logistics warehouse can result in a collapse due to total combustion, property losses, and loss of lives among firefighters, making it one of the most serious disaster-related issues in society. Such tremendous damage has many reasons, and different measures are being implemented for each of them. One of such measures, the laws on the cores of sandwich panels have been strengthened to make it mandatory to use non-flammable materials. However, in the case of the firefighting piping and the insulators for these piping, the law demands that they be at least flame-retardant or higher, without specifying the criteria for the flame-retardant performance. This results in the use of insulating materials that fall short of the require performance. The fires on piping insulators caused by the heat wires installed to prevent freeze-bursting can also be another example of the fire on organic piping insulators that fall short of the necessary flame-retardant performance. In the air duct of smoke-removal facilities, too, the sheathing of the flame-retardant insulators protects the combustible objects from the smoke of a high temperature or allows the influx of fresh air through the duct. In the end, the insulators used in the smoke duct and the insulators used on piping must be non-flammable, and highly resistant to heat. Of course, the verification of the heat insulation performance would also be important. However, there are not many options for selecting non-flammable materials that could pass the non-flammable materials test criteria as per the Standard for the Flame-Retardant Performance of Building Finishing Materials and Fire Containment Structures (Announcement of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, 2020-1053). The purpose of this study is to highlight the potential of mineral heat insulators of AES (Alkaline Earth Silicate Wool). It is intended in this study to verify the non-flammability performance of AES heat insulators through non-flammable materials test and authenticate the refractory performance and heat insulation performance at the same time, to examine its impact on the improvement of the flame-retardant performance of a building.
