Purpose: The purpose of this study is to support rational and systematic decision-making in the selection of park golf clubs by calculating the weights of various selection attributes, based on input from a panel of park gold instructors and association officials, and to propose priorities for these attributes.
Method: To identify the selection attributes for park golf clubs, this study initially developed a survey tool using the Delphi method with a panel of park golf experts. Subsequently, hierarchical decision-making methods were applied to evaluate the importance of each identified attribute, calculating their weights and verifying the priorities. All statistical significance levels were set at .05.
Results: Among the 14 selection attributes identified through the Delphi survey, 9 attributes (distance, accuracy, club weight and balance, head design, shaft design, brand awareness, price, after-sales service, and reputation) were selected as key attributes. The comprehensive weight analysis ranked distance and price as the highest priorities, while shaft design and after-sales service ranked the lowest.
Conclusion: In the selection attributes of park golf clubs, distance performance directly impacts game outcomes, while price plays a major role in consumers’ purchasing decisions.
