The purpose of this study is to understand the needs and intentions of using the naturally occurring retirement community (NORC) housing service, and an interview survey was conducted on 307 elderly residents of an apartment with a high percentage of the elderly in Seoul. The overall demand for NORC housing service was 4.54 points on average based on 7 points, and the group without intention to continue residence (M = 5.22 points) was higher than the group with intention to continue residence (M = 4.29 points). As for the demand for each major category, the external environment was 5.07 points, the community space was 4.70 points, the unit residential area was 4.27 points, and the daily life was 4.16 points. The safe walking environment was 5.83 points, and the neighborhood environment for health maintenance was 5.48 points. As for detailed items, 4.73 points were made to repair lights, switches, wallpaper, floorboards, key repairs, toilets, sinks, and faucets in the residential unit. In the external environment, the green space for health maintenance was the highest with 6.19 points. Items related to community, restaurants tailored to the elderly were the highest with 5.48 points. As for the d items related to daily life, the moving assistance service was the highest with 4.68 points, and the coin laundry room was the lowest with 3.28 points. The intention to use the paid residential service was 3.60 points based on 5 points, and the average discount of 25.11% of the market price was wanted.
