The purpose of this study is to empirically confirm the structural relationship between customer journey, customer experiential value, and cross-buying intention, focusing on cafe. This study organized customer journey into three components: customer journey seamlessness, customer journey personalization, and customer journey coherence, and considered their differential effects. The structural equation model was used for empirical analysis, and the results are as follows. First, it was found that customer journey seamlessness and customer journey coherence positively affected the customer experiential value, but customer journey personalization did not significantly affect the customer experiential value. Second, it was found that all components of customer journey, such as customer journey seamlessness, customer journey personalization, and customer journey coherence, did not directly affect cross-buying intention. Third, it was found that the customer experiential value positively influenced the cross-buying intention. Taken together, components of the customer journey do not directly affect cross-buying intention, but some of them may indirectly affect the cross-buying intention through customer experiential value. In order to improve customer’s cross-buying intention in cafe business, this study suggests that it is necessary to include the need for the establishment and management of components of customer journey and the mediating role of experiential value theoretically or practically.
