This study aims to analyze the impact of satisfaction with smart golf devices on users" trust in these devices and their exercise adherence intentions. To this end, a survey was conducted among 379 golfers in South Korea who have experience using smart golf devices. Data collection was carried out over seven days, from April 8 to April 15, 2024, using an online survey platform (Google Forms). A total of 379 responses were received, with 221 valid responses selected after excluding incomplete or invalid responses. The survey included questions on smart device satisfaction, trust, and exercise adherence intentions. To analyze the collected data, descriptive statistics, validity and reliability analyses, correlation analyses, and multiple regression analyses were conducted using SPSS 18.0. The results are as follows. First, satisfaction with smart golf devices had a statistically significant effect on device trust. Among the factors, only functional satisfaction had a positive impact on device trust, while emotional satisfaction had no significant effect. This highlights the crucial role that satisfaction with the technical performance of the device plays in building trust. Second, satisfaction with smart golf devices significantly influenced exercise adherence intentions. Specifically, emotional satisfaction had a positive effect on all sub-factors of exercise adherence intentions except for the exercise environment, whereas functional satisfaction did not have a significant impact on exercise adherence intentions. Based on these findings, academic and practical implications were discussed.
