This research is to estimated the demand determinants of the BIF. The Busan International Film Festival is expected to see a major change in demand before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, in this study, the demand models for 2014 and 2022 were estimated and the determinants of these two demand models were compared. Therefore, the NB model was estimated through the C & T test, which is the optimal method for finding the over dispersion. The coefficient of determination, LR test, and the scales of IC criterion were derived for the suitability. From the results of this research, it was found that there was a distinct difference in the demand function before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The basic variables did not differ significantly in the two demand functions. However, it was verified that there was a big difference in marketing-related factors.
