The purpose of this study was to identify sports injury of wheelchair basketball(WB) through a systematic literature review. To achieve purpose of this study, systematic literature review method was carried out by qualitative evaluation of the literature on sports injuries of WB players according to the PRISMA flow, and the results were included in final analysis. STROBE-SIIS was used as a qualitative evaluation tool. First, rate of sports injuries of WB players was 33.1%, 13.7% for males and 16.5% for females, and the incidence of injuries was frequent in female. Second, the segments of sports injuries of WB players were in the order of upper extremity(67.4%), trunk(17.2%), head and face and neck(7.9%), and lower extremity(7.5%). Third, in the case of sports injury joints in WB players, shoulder(48.1%), back and spine(10.5%), wrist(7.9%), neck and cervical spine(6.7%), elbow(5.4%), and sacrum(5.4%), sciatica(5.4%), upper Arm(3.3%), hand and finger(2.5%), knee(1.3%), head(0.9%), abdomen(0.9%), thigh(0.9), face(0.4%), ribs(0.4%) were in order, and number of joints with sports injuries. Fourth, causes of sports injuries in WB players were tendinosis(28.5%), pressure injuries(15.0%), impingement syndrome(14.5%), muscle spasms(12.5%), muscle injuries and bruises(8.0%), others(7.0%), overuse(6.0%), sprains(4.5%), strain(3.0%), and fractures (1.0%). This study was trend of sports injuries of WB players in the recent 10 years was identified, and the results of study are to understand of WB players' injuries, and to improve performance, maintain athlete life, and healthy life for various factors in the field. It is provided as basic data and can be expected to be used.
