The purpose of this research is to suggest an improvement plan through the status and problems analysis of the foster project for gifted sport children. The results of research are as follows. First, as the improvement plan of the selection process, changes from one way of selection process to three ways of selection process including sports associations and supervision groups are needed. Moreover, we should extend target sport events to minimum 19 and maximum Olympic or Asian sports. Second, as the improvement plan of method of training, the ages of the gifted sport children is need to increase from the fifth grade of elementary school and first grade of middle school to the fifth grade of elementary school and second grade of high school. The method of training is also needed to individualized programs and assessment associated with the school athletic clubs and the training for gifted sport children. Third, as the improvement plan of a management style, it is needed to increase the scientification of training support programs for gifted sport children, reinforce the qualification requirements of gifted sport children, and keep both the training and study. Moreover, it is needed to support various courses such as national athletes, the candidate groups of representative for gifted sport children and enhance training efficiencies through the program of performance evaluation which is done by sports associations and supervision groups.
