Traditional residential buildings are an important part of Chinese culture and history. Among them, Xiangli Village is a residential building that was basically finalized in the Ming and Qing Dynasties after long-term development in a unique natural geographical environment, restricted by social factors, and through a self-sufficient natural economy. group. Therefore, this study aims to explore the current status of traditional residential buildings in Xiangli Village. This article first studies the location and general situation of Xiangli Village. Secondly, the spatial structure of Xiangli Village was studied. Layout, resources. Then three representative residential buildings were selected for current status analysis.The conclusions of this study are as follows. First of all, there is a contradiction between traditional architecture and modern social environment. Secondly, most of the historical buildings are in serious damage. Finally, the human factor plays a large role in the preservation of historic buildings.
