As Korea is on the verge of becoming a super-aging society, housing policy for the elderly has seen a shift toward community care rather than institutional care. The purpose of this study is to conduct a basic awareness survey on welfare facilities within the home among elderly people using senior welfare housing. Through this, we aim to prepare basic data on ways to improve welfare facilities in senior welfare housing from the user"s perspective. The research method is to conduct a survey and interview with 24 senior citizens living in senior welfare housing and local senior citizens. The research results are as follows. An important consideration in senior welfare housing welfare facilities was locational accessibility, the service desired to use was health care service, and the space in high demand was a physical therapy room. The item with the highest need for improvement is health care services, showing that health care services are lacking overall. It was found that the survey subjects" needs, importance, and awareness of welfare facility services vary depending on their degree of physical independence, type of residence, and purpose of use. Therefore, the age, degree of physical independence, etc. of the elderly with various purposes of use were taken into consideration in an integrated manner, and their needs were found to be different. We need to be able to operate and plan services accordingly.
