The purpose of this study is to examine NFT art, which is rapidly being incorporated into the art market as a genre, within the performance art genre. The research method is to analyze the first NFT artworks by Kun-Yong Lee and Marina Abramović to identify the artistic strategies they pursue. The two masters'' NFT art produced branched-type works that referenced their existing works through collaboration with each digital platform, primarily focusing on Kun-Yong Lee''s <Body Drawing>(1976) and Abramovich''s <The Hero>(2001). Analyze as The core of the process by which Lee''s <Body Drawing> was created as NFT art, <Digital Bodyscape 76-3> (2022), is that the artist''s body is replaced by an avatar in a program based on a computer algorithm. Lee''s NFT art strategy confirmed here is, first, developing a new creative method based on contemporary new technology. Second, through NFT art-events, we are seeking to expand the way users (participants) appreciate and communicate between artists and viewers. Third, we actively support the idea that the new way of distributing artworks led by NFT technology can be a new channel of entry for artists who have not been able to enter the existing commercial art world. In the process of Abramović''s <Hero> becoming NFT into <Hero 25fps> (2022), The strategy of her NFT art is being utilized as a tactic to overcome the real-world problems facing us, first, through the call for “blockchain activism” in a web 3.0 space that transcends the ephemeral time and space of the real world. Second, the way the artist''s futuristic experience is conveyed to the audience in an intangible form, ''exchange of energy'', is being realized through NFT art sharing and constant community communication in the Web 3.0 space. Third, her NFT art conceptually allows for the continuation of time and preservation of memories that she misses in real-world performance art.
