This study explores the physical, psychological, and social changes experienced by visually impaired individuals through fishing activities. A narrative inquiry method was utilized to deeply analyze the diverse experiences and their meanings as conveyed by the participants. The results revealed that fishing activities provided participants with new experiences beyond their daily routines, facilitated psychological stability through interaction with nature, and served as opportunities for self-realization. Additionally, these activities enhanced social interactions and reduced feelings of isolation. The study proposes necessary conditions and improvements for sustaining the participation of visually impaired individuals in fishing activities. Suggested improvements include enhancing program design, increasing the professionalism of instructors, and focusing on participant-centered program operation. This research contributes to developing strategies that enable not only visually impaired individuals but all disabled individuals to participate more actively in leisure activities.
