As modern people’s interest in individual psychological health has increased, various spaces with functions such as rest, entertainment, and healing have emerged. This also affects leisure activities, and wellness tourism with the purpose of healing has emerged as a new trend. Wellness tourist attractions, which are located in many non-metropolitan areas, are judged that a wellness space based on geographic conditions and local resources is valuable for revitalizing the local economy. Therefore, this study aims to derive regional characteristics that appear in the wellness space of the non-metropolitan area and to judge the value as a regional activation.
