The post-pandemic era has brought significant changes in travel trends and user requirements for accommodation facilities. This study investigated the application of biophilic design features in creating healing environments within “Stay” accommodations, a new type of lodging that has emerged in response to these changes. Through a literature review, 14 patterns of biophilic design were identified. Five “Stay” facilities in South Korea were analyzed based on these patterns. The results revealed that the selected accommodations effectively incorporate biophilic design elements to enhance the connection with nature and provide restorative experiences. This study would provide insights into the application of biophilic design in creating healing-oriented accommodations, responding to the growing demand for relaxation and healing in the post-pandemic era. Furthermore, future research should expand the scope to include a wider variety of accommodation types and conduct user satisfaction surveys to assess the healing effects experienced in these spaces.
