This study investigates the necessity for universities offering aviation-related programs to support learners in acquiring skills required for the future by introducing not only traditional face-to-face classes but also online courses. Universities should focus on establishing new aviation service-related departments or innovating existing ones to train cabin crew members in anticipation of the future of the aviation industry. The objective of this research is to explore how learners in aviation service majors adapt to technology in a new learning environment and validate external factors influencing the adoption of technology in online practical aviation service education using an extended Technology Acceptance Model(TAM2). Empirical research through TAM2 investigates how external factors such as self-efficacy and subjective norms affect the acceptance of technology in online practical aviation service education. The research model and hypotheses were validated using a total of 640 valid responses. Results from frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling reveal that self-efficacy and subjective norms in online practical aviation service education at universities significantly influence perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, which in turn affect intention to continue using the system. This study verifies the impact of both belief variables, self-efficacy and subjective norms, on intention to continue and their direct and indirect relationships with the intention. Lastly, this study provides valuable insights into how students majoring in aviation services perceive and adapt to online practical education.
