The purpose of this study is to examine the differences in protean career attitude, rapport, and career preparation behavior according to the recognition of characteristics of dance instructors. To achieve this goal, a survey was conducted on 293 university students enrolled in universities in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, and statistical analysis was conducted with IBM SPSS and SmartPLS programs. The specific research results are as follows. First, it is the result of analyzing the effect of protean career attitude on rapport. Protean career attitudes were found to affect rapport in both professors, a practical instructor, and individual lesson leaders. Second, this is the result of analyzing the effect of rapport on career preparation behavior. It was found that rapport formation with professors affected all career preparation behavior, and rapport formation with practical leaders affected all sub-factors except self-understanding behavior of career preparation behavior, while rapport formation with individual lesson leaders did not affect career preparation behavior. Third, it is the result of analyzing the effect of protean career attitude on career preparation behavior. In all relationships with professors, practical leaders, and individual lesson leaders, self-direction all affected career preparation behavior, and value orientation only affected self-understanding behavior among career preparation behaviors. Therefore, it can be concluded that there are differences in protean career attitude, rapport, and career preparation behavior according to the characteristics of the dance leader.
