Purpose: Green remodeling was performed on public buildings according to government policies to improve the energy performance of old buildings. However, to improve the energy performance of old buildings and save energy, it is very important to operate them properly after remodeling. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to understand the current status and actual condition of the building where green remodeling was performed. Method: A survey was conducted to understand the operating status and actual condition of the building where green remodeling has been completed. The survey was conducted in a total of 8 items to investigate the use of the building, the operating time of the building, the set point temperature of the heating and cooling, the feeling of the building users, and the satisfaction of the heating and cooling system. Result: To summarize the results of the study, As for the use of the building, 36% of daycare centers and 61% of public health centers or hospitals were surveyed. According to a survey of the building"s operating hours, 63% of the buildings operated for nine hours. The average cooling set point temperature was 24.8℃, and the average heating set point temperature was 24.3℃. When using the heating and cooling system, more than 80% of the respondents said it was "moderate", and the feeling of the occupants in the building was pleasant. In the satisfaction survey with the remodeled heating and cooling system, 79% of the cooling system and 68% of the heating system were satisfied.
