In this study, we investigate the spatial design that delineates areas and facilitates the flow of movement in the creation of a virtual reality (VR) content space, drawing comparisons to real-world spatial design. Virtual space exhibits movement characteristics that extend beyond the constraints of human locomotion in reality, necessitating distinct considerations compared to real-world spatial design. Specifically, the unique attributes of VR should be considered when structuring a space for users with autonomy within the virtual realm. While the size of a human being serves as a benchmark for determining scale in organizing physical spaces, a character is employed as a reference for establishing the scale in the initial organization of virtual space. This scale dynamically adjusts in harmony with the underlying worldview. Moreover, our findings indicate that when arranging a virtual space, manipulating components such as the floor, wall, and ceiling allows for the creation of open or enclosed environments. The utilization and orientation of virtual space contents can vary based on factors such as the wall-to-floor ratio and the overall spatial configuration.
