〈Physical: 100〉 became the first Korean entertainment program to achieve global success. 〈Physical: 100〉 utilized spectacular images to create a "fun show" that transcended different cultural codes.〈Physical: 100〉 also put effort into the opening sequence to build the images of the participants. The image of Yang Hak-seon is maximized to introduce the participants to viewers. This part also actively utilizes spectacle images. Methods of creating spectacular images in〈Physical: 100〉 include the spectacle of a huge set, the spectacle of time using slow motion, and the splendid camera work of speed drones. The spectacle images created in this way provide visual enjoyment to viewers. However, because the focus was on creating a spectacular image, it was disappointing that each character"s storytelling was lacking. Spectacle is a powerful weapon, but its vitality can be extended only when combined with storytelling.
