With the ongoing advancements in artificial intelligence and big data technologies, CPUs are experiencing an escalated heating load owing to the swiftly rising computational requirements. Failing to adequately cool the CPU during intense operations can result in irreversible device damage and diminished performance. To counteract this, improvements in cooling efficiency are crucial, especially through innovative fan designs. The current research presents the Dual Combined Fan, a distinctive design that diverges from traditional fans with its unique double-coupled shape. We performed computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to assess the cooling capabilities of this fan and also conducted experimental tests to validate the numerical simulations. Our results demonstrate that the Dual Combined Fan, primarily because of its flow convergence behavior, significantly outperforms conventional fans in cooling efficiency under comparable conditions.
