The this study attempted to study the characteristics of the floor plan composition of traditional houses on the Korean Peninsula. The purpose of the study was to derive the characteristics and distribution of stacked houses centering on the mountainous areas of the Sobaek Mountains. The research content was analyzed as a visual series (視系列) by dividing it into a single barrel and an double barrel series and analyzing patterns in which similar types were derived or spaces were added or expanded. Based on this, the detailed types of traditional houses were tracked for each residential cultural area to derive flat characteristics, and the distribution of houses by residential area was visualized. This characteristic of changing from the original housing to the detailed type was interpreted as a housing adjustment phenomenon due to differences in residential culture and convergence of local residents.
