Peonies are known to cure diseases that cause lumps in the body and severe pain in the stomach or chest. The peony roots contain péoniflorine, known to have various medicinal effects such as sedation and analgesic effects, blood support, nerve pain relief, muscle cramps relief, mental nerve stability, and improvement of dizziness. Peony, a medicinal herb known to alleviate various ailments, has created natural dyes for baby quilted garments. This research is a follow-up study of producing natural dyeing baby quilted baeja using red peony and gardenia extracts. It is intended to test the dyeing properties of white peony and then develop baby"s quilted 100-day clothes fashion products using a complex extract of white peony and rubia. The 100-day celebration, a ritual to mark a baby"s 100th day of life, traditionally involves quilts, symbolizing longevity and abundance. This research aims to combine sustainable and functional natural dyeing materials from medicinal herbs with traditional clothing designs to create aesthetically pleasing fashion products for this special occasion. Two jeogori, one durumagi, one baeja, one pair of open-crotch pants, and one dureong-chima were developed using machine-quilted silk fabrics mixed with white peony and puppet extract. The bottom garments, including open-crotch pants and dureong-chima, were crafted from white silk quilted in consideration of practicality and ease of washing. The baby"s clothes produced in this study are not intended for daily wear but serve as high-end image natural dyeing prototypes made from silk fabrics suitable for special occasions and commemorative purposes.
