Recently, there has been an increasing interest in grit and creative convergence ability, so this study was conducted to investigate the effect of grit on the effectiveness of creative convergence programs. For this purpose, a creative convergence program was conducted for nursing students at one university in G-metropolitan, and the extent of change in creative convergence ability according to grit level was analyzed. The results showed that, first, grit and creative convergence ability were analyzed according to general characteristics, and there was no difference in grit according to personal variables, and creative convergence ability was differentiated by gender and age. Second, the correlation between grit and creative convergence ability were analysed, and all sub-factors of creative convergence ability were significantly correlated. Third, we examined the effect of grit on the change of creative convergence ability, and found that the higher the grit, the higher the creative convergence ability, and the amount of grit explaining the effect of the creative convergence program was 46.2%.
