This study examine the degree of nominalisation of ‘-pposa’ noun by applying the parts-of-speech typicality judgment standard as part of the examination of the ‘-sa’ noun which is central in the nominalisation of adjectives. ‘-pposa’ noun is common with ‘-sa’ noun in that it has the grammatical characteristics of the noun and the lexical characteristics of the adjective. However, it shows 1 to 2 of the noun typicality value, indicating that the degree of nominalisation is quite low, and it can be seen that it does not function sufficiently as a noun. In addition, the words in the process of conversion of the noun ‘-pposa’ were analyzed to examine the change in the typicality of parts-of-speech. ‘-pposa’ nouns were inversely formed from nouns through ‘-ppoi’ adjectives, but they had completely different parts-of-speech typicality at each stage. It was confirmed that ‘-pposa’ nouns lost most of the grammatical and lexical characteristics of each parts-of-speech unlike the words in the previous stage remarkedly representing noun or adjective typicality.
