This study attempted to understand the subjective perception of metaverse by screen golf users to which metaverse technology is being applied. To this end, the Q research method was applied to examine the subjective perception of users, focusing on the main factors explained by the metaverse characteristics. As a result of the study, it was classified into four types. Type 1 is accessibility-oriented. Metabus technology agreed on the ease of access to sports activities and the effectiveness of exercise and training. Type 2 is Metaverse Experience Focused type. For screen golf to which metaverse is applied, it emphasized immersion, vividness, various plays, expansion of experiences, and changes in fun factors. The third type is the Realism expansion-oriented type. Screen golf, to which metaverse is applied, was paying attention to the expansion of sports experiences. The fourth type is social relations. For screen golf to which metaverse is applied, it was important to expand the free platform properties and experiences of time and space. Through this, the growth potential and development direction of sports activities using metaverse were proposed.
