Safety related systems in railway signaling tend to have multiple layered components that are not connected directly. Such indirectly connected dependent systems have factors that interfere with overall maintenance. In this paper, we derived and classified factors related with the absorbing state. By analyzing an absorbing model, we designed a new model to delay the transition time to the absorbing state. Finally, we analyzed degradation of reliability via numerical stimulation.
