This study is a story about sports instructor for the non-major elderly, and the purpose of this study was to find out about the introductory process and activity experience in this field. Accordingly, data were collected and analyzed by conducted in-depth interview with five research participants as a qualitative case study. The results were categorized as follows under the main theme of the introductory process and activity experience in the field of elderly sports of non-public leaders.
First, the introductory course for senior sports leaders was defined as the result of “Turning Point of My Life: Seeking Change through Serious Leisure (Exercise).” Second, in the absence of a formal way to become an “senior sports instructor,” the situation in which senior instructors" help and self-conflict efforts were represented by “Ask, the way to visit: Qualify and create opportunities.” First, while working as an elderly sports instructor, efforts for self-development, such as constant learning, were not stopped, and this was categorized as “recovering as an senior sports instructor: My own differentiation strategy.” Second, the process of making more efforts because of the anxiety felt by being a non-mist, and the result of showing the perception that it may be more suitable because it is a non-mist was represented as “be a non-mist beyond a major: overcome weaknesses and utilize strength.” Third, “Feeling proud and steadily grinding my happy path” was interpreted as a result of representing the ongoing experience of continuing to work with a sense of happiness as an senior sports instructor.
