This paper aims to analyze the trends in research on "model-house" by examining papers published in academic journals in Korea from 1994 to 2022. The study conducts a thorough investigation using search engines such as RISS, DBPIA, and AURIC to extract a total of 66 relevant papers. The paper then performs a quantitative analysis, using simple descriptive statistics, of the productivity of the papers, author characteristics, topics, and conceptual words. Additionally, the study includes a qualitative analysis of how researchers perceive “model houses”. By doing so, The study confirms that “model house research” is being studied by researchers across various fields, including computer science, complex science, as well as typical field such as indoor interior, and architecture. This study provides a comprehensive numerical analysis of the characteristics of the trend in model-house research, and it can serve as a valuable basic study for future researchers seeking to understand what "model-house" research entails.
