The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of DIY natural cosmetics using grape seed extract on the improvement in skin. By applying the DIY natural cosmetics to research subjects, which is made of seed extract from Campbell's Early cultivar and Neo Muscat cultivar ,this study also aims to provide comparative analysis of the level of skin improvement and to seek effective ways for skin care for women. The results were as follows. First, the DIY natural cosmetics using seed extract of Neo Muscat cultivar were effective not only in the change of oil content and moisture at U-zone and T-zone, but also in pigmentation and resilience of the skin. Second, the DIY natural cosmetics using seed extract of Campbell's Early cultivar were effective in oil content decrease & moisture increase at Tzone, pigmentation, and resilience. Third, although there was statistically significant differences in oil content decrease & moisture increase at both U-zone and T-zone, Campbell’s Early cultivar showed higher decrease in pores, wrinkles, and pigmentation. Fourth, in terms of weekly variation, DIY natural cosmetics from Neo Muscat cultivar showed more extensive variation than DIY natural cosmetics from Campbell’s Early cultivar. As a result, DIY natural cosmetics using seed extracts from both Neo Muscat cultivar and Campbell’s Early cultivar were proved to be effective in treating oily skin.
