Zhedongxueshu(浙东学术)” written by Zhang Xuecheng(章学诚) in the Qing Dynasty is as known as the understanding of the academic group. Liang Qichao(梁啓超) supports Zhang Xuecheng and is regarded as an authoritative academic School. But can the "Zhedong School(浙东学派)" form a Real school ? The later scholars of Zhang Xuecheng was questioned. The key is whether Shao Tingcai(邵廷采) can be identified as a link. Yao Mingda姚名达 and He Bingsong何炳松 admited the relationship between teachers and students, and Zhang Xuecheng is the successor of the Zhedong School. Liang Qichao also took YaoJiang Academy(姚江书院) as the center and positively evaluated the teacher-student relationship between Huang Zongxi(黄宗羲) and Shao Tingcai(邵廷采) But He Guanbiao(何冠彪) demonstrated and refuted this in detail. which seems to be a persuasive argument. Nivison and Yu Yingshi(余英时) holds that Zhang Xuecheng is not a descendant of the Zhedong School. Through the three articles, we can see that the key to Zhang Xuecheng's changes in his views on Zhedong School lies in whether Huang Zongxi is included. Yu Yingshi inferred Zhang Xuecheng's psychological changes in his relationship with Dai Zhen(戴震) at the same time. In other words, because his own works are despised by society and Dai Zhen, he began to attack Dai Zhen's "improper mind(心术不正)". In addition, in order to improve Zhang Xuecheng's academic status, Zhang Xuecheng and his teachers put their genealogy.
