Out of the data from 140,253 adolescents aged from 13 to 18 in "National Fitness 100" surveyed in 2019, 85,443 (48,462 males, 36,981 females) were selected as the subjects of this study, excluding 2,755 cases with abnormal assessments by item from 88,198 who had all physical fitness assessment data. In this study, the underweight group of BMI percentile by age was set to be less than the 5th percentile, the overweight group of it was the 85 to 94th percentile, and the obesity group was equal to or greater than the 95th percentile. A total of four groups were divided, and their health-related physical strength factors―body fat, muscular endurance, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, grip strength, and relative grip strength―were analyzed after classifying them by gender. According to the results, both the male and female adolescents showed the same result. The higher the weight, the higher the body fat, and muscular endurance was higher in the underweight and normal weight groups and the lowest in the obesity group. Flexibility was the lowest in the underweight group, cardiovascular endurance was the highest in the normal weight group and the lowest in the obesity group. In terms of muscular strength and grip strength which are influenced by the weight, they were higher as the weight increased. However, the opposite result was found in the relative grip strength which considers the weight. As the results showed that the level of physical strength of the obesity group was lower than that of the normal group, it was concluded that there was a significant difference in physical strength depending on the degree of obesity.
