A 50-year-old man was being treated for psoriasis and X-linked recessive ichthyosis. The onset of psoriasis was 30 years ago, and X-linked recessive ichthyosis was reported to occur immediately after birth. He had psoriasis lesions of scaly erythematous plaque and ichthyosis lesions of finescale patches on the whole body. Psoriasis and ichthyosis were treated with conventional treatment, but they did not show effect. With the start of Ustekinumab, psoriasis, as well as ichthyosis lesions, improved. When the patient was scheduled to take the fifth injection, he visited the clinic one month later than the scheduled date, both psoriasis and ichthyosis lesions were worsened again. Re-administration of Ustekinumab improved both disease lesions. Herein, we report a case of psoriasis accompanied by X-linked recessive ichthyosis as an interesting case of improvement of both diseases in Ustekinumab treatment.
