The purpose of this study is to understand the effect of job search stress of college students on suicide ideation, and verify the mediating effect of adjustment to college in the relationship. To achieve the research objectives, in the analysis a data from 256 participants was used.Descriptive analysis, independent sample t-test and multiple-regression analysis was utilized to test research effectiveness. Main results of the analysis are as follows. First, when the research model was tested, it was found that job search stress of college students had a negative influence on adjustment to college. Second, when the research model was tested, it was found that job search stress of college students had a positive influence on suicide ideation. Third, it was found that job search stress of college students had a positive influence on suicide ideation, the mediating factor of adjustment to college was found to have partially mediating effects. Based on the results, we will provide effective suggestions to decrease suicide ideation of college students.
