This study is a comparative analysis study of haircut diagrams and seeks to compare the haircut diagrams of VIDAL SASSOON, PIVOT POINT, Zone and Section, TONY&GUY, an overseas educational institution that has influenced Urina's haircut technology. To this end, the hair cut type was based on the techniques of one-lengths, gradation, and layer, which are basic hair cut, and among the seven hair cut procedures, design lines and outline that are essential to the diagram were set as design classification criteria. The diagram was compared and analyzed for each of the four institutions Through this, it was found that VIDAL SASSOON and TONY&GUY were faithful to the design that emphasized the importance of the treatment angle, section, and cut direction, and PIVOT POINT emphasized only the outline form. In the future, through this study, we hope that as an essential element for making haircut designs, we will be able to develop a process of Korean Haircut diagrams that everyone can easily understand and design, and use them as a basis for making hair designs in industrial and educational fields.
