Purpose : The purpose of this study is to report on research worthy findings when using telepractice speech-language therapy on children with speech-language development delay and to use the findings as basic data for future related research. Methods : The subjects of this study were one preschool age child and one school-age child. The performance characteristics of the children were analyzed through non-face-to-face speech therapy. Results : During telepractice speech language therapy, preschool children had difficulties in maintaining a seated position and concentrating attention. School-age children did not show any major difficulties in maintaining a seated position and concentrating, and were able to perform target activities without reinforcement or prompt, but showed an active response to rejection, avoidance, and feedback on activities. In addition, in the case of preschool children with articulation and resonance problems, the audiovisual sensitivity of speech therapists was required. Conclusions : In the development and use of telepractice speech language therapy programs, it is important for the speech pathologist to provide proper guidance to preschool children to maintain visual and auditory attention. As for the school-age children, it is imperative that a two-way method be used that can actively reflect upon children’s opinions during activities and adjust the difficulty level accordingly.
