Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the actual status of evaluation and related programs of major neurocognitive disorder subjects performed by language rehabilitation specialists in Korea. In this study, we intend to identify the current state of intervention for speech rehabilitation practitioners who are mediating major neurocognitive disorders and use this as basic data for future research. Methods: This study conducted a questionnaire survey on language rehabilitation workers and analyzed 14 questionnaires that were answered. It is divided into general items (8 items), treatment-related information (3 items), and treatment method-related items (18 items) in order to understand the status of major neurocognitive disorders in speech rehabilitation and consists of 29 items in total. For questions related to treatment methods, using the Likert 5 point scale, 1 point for ‘None’, 2 points for ‘very rarely’, 3 points for ‘sometimes’, 4 points for ‘frequent use’, 5 points for ‘always use’ The higher the score, the higher the frequency of use was measured. Results: As a result of analyzing the status of major neurocognitive disorder interventions, the use of K-MMSE and K-WAB was high in the case of neurocognitive tests. Information acquisition for mediation was performed through search of major books and dissertations, and it was found that the evaluation of the visitor was conducted in various ways. Finally, it was found that while the degree of awareness of major interventions was high, the actual frequency of use was low. Conclusions: It is judged that various education on major neurocognitive disorders should be held, and development of various types of test tools for various evaluations and distribution of intervention programs are necessary.
