The purpose of this study is to find answers to research questions for revitalization of food tourism in Jeju Island Based on the results of crawling and analyzing the contents of each blog by classifying Jeju Island into four regions, the characteristics of popular foods and menus in each region, the expressions of experienced bloggers, and the attributions of regional menus to promote food tourism were discussed
Total 2,466 blog contents were crawled since 2013 including a dictionary of 24 stopwords out of 1,162,675 preprocessed words as well as local menus and ingredients, and expressions of visitors in four regions to select characteristics of food A Python-based emotional restaurant map for each region of Jeju Island was implemented using Python. It is expected that the results of this study can contribute to systematically analyzing the experiences and interests of tourists in Jeju Island’s well-being food.
