As a result of three surveys of the Yeongwol Korean Peninsula wetland from April to November 2021, a total of 4 orders, 11 families, 34 species and 2,982 individuals appeared. In all areas except St. 4, the dominant species were inhabited in the midstream. But at St. 4, a puddle in the Korean Peninsula wetland, Carassius auratus and Pseudorasbora parva were dominance, so there appeared to characteristics of lentic habitat. As such, it is very exception case for these species to appear in rivers. In particular, it is very important and geographic information some of the fish species that mainly appear in rivers and wetlands on the west cost, such as Carassius auratus and Micropterus salmoides. As a result of conducting similarity analysis for each point, it was largely divided into 3 groups (A, B, C). Among them, group ‘B’ showed the characteristics as a stagnant pond differently from other points in the river. As such, the Yeongwol Korean Peninsula wetland has both the characteristics of rivers and stagnant pond creating an habitats where various fish can living. So Yeongwol Korean Peninsula Wetland is thought to have a very high conservation value.
