Virtual nuclear fusion reactor(also called virtual tokamaks) is oriented towards a digital twin that predicts behavior of the reactor and supports real-time feedback control and visualization. Recently, development of the virtual reactor has been accelerated along with advances in cutting-edge technology under the 4th industrial revolution. This article addresses objective of the virtual reactor and related supporting technologies. Also we introduce need for the virtual reactor development and current development status in both domestic and other internationals.
