It is undeniable that various cultural regeneration attempts have been made for idle spaces under the bridge, both at home and abroad. However, even though Busan has the second largest number of bridges in the city center after Seoul, it is considered difficult to judge that cultural regeneration is taking place, only improving the physical and aesthetic environment for idle spaces under the bridge. Since the past, the lower part of the bridge has had a negative perception that it is a crime zone, and it is safe to say that it has become a place where you can see the faces of the elderly who are about to enter a super-aged society. In the shade at the bottom of the bridge, the elderly gather to enjoy entertainment or chat with snacks. The purpose of this study is to organize a space program to support the naturally formed daily community activities of the elderly to be sustainable in a comfortable space and to present directions for activating existing content. In addition, I would like to propose an age-friendly public design to create a play space where communication and community activities (play culture using local currency, etc.) are possible as a community space for local residents, not just facilities for the elderly(senior centers, senior citizens, etc.). Therefore, this study aims to present a specific spatial plan for the public space as a play space through cultural regeneration in which the elderly and local residents can communicate by utilizing the spatial characteristics of the idle space under the bridge.
