With the development of the economy, the rural population move to the cities, and rural housing has become hollow. As a new type of accommodation facility, pension are usually located in beautiful rural areas. This research analyzes the transformation of traditional houses in Zhejiang, China, and understands the process of transforming traditional houses into modern pension. This is to provide a sustainable development direction for future rural regeneration. In this study, the characteristics of traditional houses in Zhejiang through preliminary research, the spatial composition, transformation methods, and historical and cultural preservation methods of the renovated houses in Zhejiang that are currently in operation. In the process of reconstruction, the traditional elements of the original buildings are preserved as much as possible, so that visitors can better experience the local traditional culture. Were analyzed it is possible to construct a suitable perspective when analyzing the geographical location and natural environment in the transformation process to facilitate the transformation.
