This study is still in the early stage of application and requires a lot of basic research for practical use. Goel et al. (1) approached the thermofluidic properties obtained by direct transport of latent heat particulates in a numerical method. The basic physical properties for numerical analysis are mainly empirical formulas using solid particles. However, since latent particulate matter exists in a solid or liquid form before and after a phase change, the reliability of the analytical method can be increased only when an accurate evaluation of the effect of this is performed. Inaba et al. (2) measured the density, latent heat, and thermal conductivity as a function of temperature by mixing particulate latent heat material particles with water as a working fluid. Yamagishi et al. (3) experimentally measured the supercooling phenomenon that occurs during phase change of the latent heat material. The first property required for heat transport is viscosity. The viscosity is expressed as a function of the particulate concentration as well as the temperature of the slurry in which the particulate latent heat material is mixed. In addition, it is possible to accurately analyze the change in viscosity using the latent particulate heat material only when the characteristics of the material in the solid state and in the liquid state are identified. In this study, the characteristics of the viscosity change according to the concentration and temperature change of fine particles with a latent heat particle size of 30-50μm and melting points of 6℃, 18℃, and 50℃ were measured. In addition, one equation was derived using a non-linear curve fitting method for temperature and concentration for the viscosity of latent particulate matter having three different melting points. The pressure drop was measured by the experiment, and the friction coefficient was calculated using this to evaluate the effect on the laminar flow state when the slurry containing latent heat particles was transported.
