This study measured and analyzed the specific heat according to the temperature of various ionic liquids and ionic nanofluids with MWCNT nanoparticles. [HMIM][Tf2N], [HMIM][TfO], [HMIM][Pf6] and [C12MIM][Tf2N] were the ionic liquids used in this study. The result showed that the specific heat increased with an increase in temperature. Under the same temperature condition, the specific heat of the ionic liquid was the lowest for [HMIM][Tf2N] and the highest for [HMIM][TfO]. In the case of the ionic nanofluid, the specific heat increased with the increase in temperature but decreased as the concentration of MWCNT increased.
